Hi. welcome to my auction for my Ducati Monster S4R. This bike is my absolute pride and joy. however I now have a young family and it is time to hang up my leathers.

I bought the bike in August 2011 as a standard S4R (albeit with the Ducati Performance pack) and rode it for the reminder of that year. We then had a bad winter. and seeing as I couldn?ˆ™t ride it - I ended up completely stripping. rebuilding and creating the ?ˆ?custom?ˆ™ bike that is now for sale. I have a huge box full of original parts so the bike can easily be returned to a standard look (but why would you?!)

The dealer I purchased the bike from was able to demonstrate that the bike has the Ducati Performance airbox. air filter. full Termignoni exhaust system and most importantly matching ECU fitted from new  (a £2000+ extra). This means that as it was factory fitted . the insurance is much cheaper (£200/yr for me). The bike has a super ?ˆ?noise?ˆ™ and happily spits the occasional flame on overrun!

The bike is the 2005 S4R. so has the 996 engine (please do not confuse with the S4 or any other Monster. This is a rare and very different bike). When the bike was stripped. I painted the engine and it had a full service including belts. All parts were original Ducati parts ?ˆ“ with receipts.

All this work has created an absolutely stunning motorcycle that the pictures don?ˆ™t nearly do justice. The bike has the looks and the noise ?ˆ“ and attracts attention. It is impossible to take this bike out and not park up and have people looking/taking pictures (which is quite complementary!) I have spent far more time polishing and cleaning than riding!

All this said. I do ride the bike which is why I have not described it as immaculate and there are a couple of marks around it ?ˆ“ it is a 9 year old bike!

The bike is MOT?ˆ™d until June 24th 2015. and taxed until Feb 2015. Not shown in the photos. but included is a single arm paddock stand.

I have two keys and the all important Red key (three in total). I also have all the manuals and a huge bunch of receipts!

This bike is very easy to ride ?ˆ“ if your sensible then I can recommend it as a first big bike as its as happy going slow as it is fast (and it is fast!). The clutch is light and has lovely smooth gear changes. The brakes are progressive and don?ˆ™t ?ˆ?grab?ˆ™. The engine braking is superb and can easily make for a ?ˆ?lazy?ˆ™ ride.

The bike is priced keenly so please don?ˆ™t start sending emails asking ?ˆ?what will I take?ˆ™ ?ˆ“ it?ˆ™s already very cheap. Come and see it. and IF you find something wrong then we can see about haggling. I will accept offers very close to the asking price. The bike wants for nothing and needs nothing other than a new home.

I am happy to offer test rides ?ˆ“ but that will only be with the full asking price in my hand in cash ?ˆ“ NO EXCEPTIONS. (and then it?ˆ™s a strict bin it and you?ˆ™ve bought it condition).   I will also need to see your insurance to prove that you can ride third party.

Payment is either cash on collection or bank transfer. The bike won?ˆ™t leave until funds are cleared in my account (and that includes cash!).
