2011 Ducati Monster 796 M796 (Non-ABS)

Selling my 2011 Ducati Monster 796. Beautiful single-swing-armed white bike with 6. 44 miles and a clean title. This bike was purchased brand new from European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh in 2011. The same shop handled the first scheduled maintenance. replacement of the tank plastic covers (due to a fastener recall). and one routine fluid change/chain-tensioning/inspection before the 2012 and 2013 riding season. Since then. Northern Ohio Ducati and Triumph has handled the maintenance of the bike (which has been the routine fluid/chain/inspection stuff) including a recent flush/change of the clutch and brake fluids. It's not quite ready for the next Ducati scheduled maintenance. Modifications of the bike include: 14-tooth front sprocket. speedymoto star oil-check cover. rear-fender eliminator. ram-mount ball for a GoPro (or GPS. EZ Pass. anything really). nd bar-end mirrors. The bad: Next season the bike will be due for brake pads and at least the rear tire. The "796" decal near the filler of the tank is almost off - a new one can be purchased and applied quick. cheap. and easy. The ugly: The left-side exhaust can and heat shield have scuffs from the rubbing against the wall of an enclosed trailer during a trip. I've sanded and painted the heat shield so it's not noticeable. but I couldn't fix the exhaust can - I always assumed I would just upgrade the exhaust system to fix it. This bike runs flawlessly. has been well-maintained. and I keep it very clean. I store it in a heated garage on a paddock stand (front tire on wood). connected to a battery tender. and covered with a Ducati bike cover. The sale of the bike will include the cover and paddock stand. I really don't want to sell the bike. but I'm relocating the to West Coast and my employer will only transport so many of my vehicles for me - rather than pay out-of-pocket to transport this bike. I'm just going to try and sell it with the hopes of buying another one out west. Deposit required at completion of the auction. Buyer responsible for shipping and insuring bike.
