For sale is my 2004 Ducati 749.   If you have ever swooned over Pierre Terblanche's masterpiece that the world has come to know as the Ducati 749/999. here is finally your chance to own one.   This bike is in immaculate condition with only 8550 miles on the odometer.   All service is up to date. oil always changed with Repsol full Synthetic oil. new battery and custom seat. nbsp;and this show stopper can be yours for a very low price. Look at those carbon fibre fairing baffles. how awesome is that?!

When I take this bike out it draws admiring stares.   When I pull up to "Cars & Coffee" this bike will garner more attention and questions than the Ferrari I parked next to. it is simply that stunning.   My friends don't like to ride with me because not only will this bike kick the crap out of their "Gixers" and R1's. but when we pull into a bar for a quick burger all eyes (and advances from the opposite sex) are on that sumptuous ride and the bloke that rode in on her! The most harmonious and intoxicating mixture of red plastic and silver metal (along with a soupcon of fairy dust. a trace of dragon's breath. and just a dash of ground unicorn horn) the world has ever had fortune enough to lay eyes on. a truly stunning and timeless motorcycle.

Improve your dating life; improve your riding skills; improve your winter blues; finally figure out what ground unicorn horn can do to the libidinous properties of the opposite sex. this bike promises to do it all. all you have to do is put in your bid.   And look at that sexy custom seat that I just had made for her. fans of the 749/999 series will know that this bike originally had the red biposto seat on it. well. that red was a stupid design idea (I think Pierre was on a brief vacation when some idiot underling must have penned that into the design) so I had a custom black seat with red piping and red stitching made for it and it came up looking trick!

Clean and clear title in my name so bid with confidence.   This bike has been lovingly maintained and ridden by a responsible adult and cared for like it was my own child.   It lives not inside a garage but rather inside my house!!!  Yes folks. it is likely that this bike has never been outside in temperatures below 50 degrees and I never never ever ever ride it in the rain.   I am including the full 24 pictures (come on eBayer's. if you are asking someone to buy a motorcycle sight unseen. do the proper thing and shell out the $2 eBay fee to give people a full array of photos!!!!!) for your perusal. and please let me know if you have any questions or why you are hesitating before clicking "confirm bid" because of some little niggle that you can't get out of your head. I love to talk bikes. It does need new tires and I have priced it accordingly. but the battery is brand new as are the injectors.

"So why are you selling it if it has dragon's breath and unicorn horn in its DNA?" I know it's gonna come up so here's my answer and I say this with all the bitterness of a man who can no longer ride some of his bikes: I am getting older and at 6'5" this bike no longer makes sense for me to ride. it's just too damn uncomfortable and painful for me to crawl up on anymore :-(  So there. thank you for making me feel old!
