2001 Gilera Runner SP180 2stroke moped One off. Good condition. MOT.

Here for sale is my Gilera Runner 180SP 2 stroke model. where to start with this bike. I purchased it about 4 months ago as my car broke down and needed a vehicle to commute to and from work. since owning the bike in 4 months I have done 44KM on her (see trip in last picture) the reason for this is because a friend of mine shortly after my car broke down crashed his car (same make and model) so I ended up taking the bit off of his car that I needed to get mine up and running again. So the bike has basically been dry stored for roughly 4 months in my brick garage. nbsp;since owning the bike I have done the following. Taken the air filter off and thoroughly cleaned it in petrol and sprayed it with air filter spray to stop anything from going past it. taken the carburettor off and flushed it through with carb spray to ensure nothing was sitting in there that shouldn't be. I have also converted the bike to premix so I have cancelled out the 2 stroke pump as I don't trust them as much as I did 4 years ago so petrol and oil must be mixed into the fuel tank before running (2 stroke pump works absolutely fine and is a simple procedure to put back to normal). The main bottom end bearing was changed via the previous owner and I have the old one to prove it. nbsp;The bike itself is completely standard other then the following.

White braded front brake hose (see pics)

one off blue and grey spray job. front wheel included (not done in a rush or without care. see pics)

25mm oversized carburettor (bike is tuned to this upgrade and runs spot on with it but would swap for original carburettor personally)

Other then the 3 things listed the bike is completely original and in very good condition for its age and model. the bike starts first time every time without a problem. the clocks are in KM so she has done 6657 Miles in a total of 14 years!. nbsp;the bike is Mot'd until June 2015. currently Sorn but makes no difference with the new law as you would have to tax it yourself anyway and is only 18 pound to tax for a whole year! These 2 stroke SP models are becoming harder to get hold of these days. especially one as standard as this one. I would also like to add that these bikes will never go down in value they will only continue to rise. the bike is registered as a 180cc so you will need a full bike license to ride it unless to downgrade her to a 125cc which is easy enough to do. Full V5 present and other little bits of paperwork. im sure I have missed a lot of details.
