HARLEY DAVIDSON XLH883 SPORTSTER BOBBER. IRON/48 STYLE, LOW MILES, SUPERB!

Hi. I'm offering for sale. my superb Harley 883 Sportster bobber. Built by me last summer. starting with a bog standard. mint. low mileage Sporty. I spent a fair bit of time & money getting it to what you see here. Customised in a Sportster Iron / 48 bobber style. using mainly brand new. quality parts - It's had the front & rear mudguards professionally bobbed & repainted satin black. along with the tank. 33" chrome drag bars. genuine Sportster 48 single seat conversion using custom made mounts. side mount plate with LED stop & tail light. satin black stealth LED indicators front & rear. with custom mounts (including Badlands LED adapter box under the seat). under-bar mounted satin black mirrors. black wrapped pipes. with brand-new slash-cut exhausts. chrome slammer shocks. It's low & loud & absolutely superb to ride!

Other custom goodies include: Screaming Eagle filter. polished engine casings. chrome forward controls. chrome battery box. chrome HD lockable petrol cap. the list goes on! probably other stuff I've missed!

IMO. It's the Sportster model to have - being the carb model. with 5-speed box. It's in superb condition overall. just the usual pitting to the chrome on the rear wheel & slight pitting on the laquer on the lower forks (common problem). There's also a couple of small rough areas on the frame - where the original seat was. These were rubbed down & repainted when the bike was stripped & aren't very noticeable. just want to give an honest description & point everything out :)

It really is a superb bike & I've had loads of fun with it - it runs & rides great & gets great comments wherever I go! So. why am I selling? I hear you ask! Simple - I just have too many bikes! I have another bobber I'm just finishing & I've also just bought a Dyna Superglide too! So unfortunately. this one has to go. I'll be sad to see it go. but someone will get a great little bobber. all ready to go. when Spring arrives.

It will have a service & fresh MOT for the new owner. Sorry. I'm not interested in a px at the minute (too many bikes!) & will only consider sensible offers. If I don't get what I think it's worth. I'll hang on to it a bit longer & re-advertise in the Spring.
