This is a NO reserve auction. This is a 1942 Harley davidson model u. It has mostly original Parts. This is a very rare pre war big twin. This bike is super cool. This bike runs strong and drives although it has not been ridden much in many years.   Restore or get on the road with its patina. This bike has South African plates and old South African tags.  It was brought back to the U. S. in the 80s.  Cal title in process and almost complete.  Will be registered as a 1942 hd with NO blue tag(chp issued frame #)                  This bike has a perfect frame and perfect vin. Im pretty sure the belly #s match but i have to check.  The only repro i'm sure of is the speedo and coil. I believe the frame is a 1939.  The rear fender has a wide strap brace but i think is real. Has side car mounts.  Original headlight and tail light. M41 carb.  Correct hubs. All lights work and generator charges.   I know where a 1942 Knucklehead motor basket case is if you want it to be a Knuckle. Again.
