What you are looking at is a recent resurrection of a 'ol skool survivor from Norther California. I purchased this a couple of years ago as a rather roached out '70's or '80's build and the result is what you see here. The biggest thing I did was make it into a solo seat and brand new 3. 2 GAL tank. Dollar wise I had the motor gone through with new pistons/rings. flywheels rebuilt. heads etc. Nice Keihin carb period correct for the '76 motor that now rests in the '57 frame. Tranny was fine so we put that back in. The narrow springer is a period piece from Fremont CA; an early '70's Cycleology unit. I had it re-chromed. Tire is new speedmaster and the hub is a spool-type that is true. All the hardware is new. The frame is a actual 1957 that has been "goose necked" and hard-tailed sometime back in the '70's. I think its an early Denver's but cannot be certain. I basically blasted it and repainted it basic black. It used to be full of bondo and all smoothed out but I like to see the welds. New steering stem races w/tapered roller bearings. 3/4" rear axle. The rear brake rotor is a new floater and the caliper and master cylinder are rebuilt PM pieces with custom linkage and new lines by me. Stops nice. Rear tire is a newer gum dipped Firestone on a new rim. New chain. new sprockets. This bike is registered as a 1957 HD Sportster. clear title. motor number is on the title. Paint is lacquer with lots of sparkle and looks trick. My reserve is fair price for a period-correct chopper. $500 due at auction win and paid in full within 3 business days. You must arrange all shipping. I'll store it in my garage as long as you are paid in full. No warranty or returns. This is not a faint-of-heart cruiser for bozos. its a bike that you actually ride and must know whats going on around you. Call with any questions but I think I covered it all.
