You are looking at a 1972 Harley-Davidson FLH Shovel-head. Matching Vin # on frame and motor. This bike is NOT 100% original and has plenty of aftermarket upgrades it. The engine and frame are original as are a lot of other parts on the bike. just want to make it clear if you're looking for 100% original. this is not the bike you want. With that being said this is an amazing bike. The transmission was freshly rebuilt last spring 2014. It has a brand new S&S (E) carb on it. Brand new Dyna Tek ignition module & coil. Brand new battery. newer disc front brake system. rear brakes have been converted to disc. Front tire is good. rear tire is like new. Tomb Stone style brake light. Aftermarket exhaust pipes. This is a very great running. hifting. and nice looking shovel-head. It has been converted to electric start but still has the kick start as well. Mustang Seat. Aftermarket oil coiling system. There is only a few minor TLC things that could be done to make it even better and I have posted those pics. First. the left side passenger foot rest board lost its rubber foot pad. no big deal as seen in the pic. Next. the front fender is missing the bracket that holds the fender to the forks. as seen in pic. but is still securely in place. Also on the inside of the left hard saddle bag the is a small hole (1"x 2") that CAN'T be seen unless you take the lid off and look. it can be patched if you wanted. it faces the rear tire and doesn't effect anything if you wanna put cargo in there. These minor issues Do Not effect the bike what so ever. their minor cosmetic issue that can be taken care of cheaply and while your waiting for spring to come. The odometer does NOT show the actual mileage (mileage discrepancy and states on the title as well) but DOES work and shows accurate RPMs and MPH as well. The pictures are exactly what you're getting. just took the pics this morning. she's a little dirty. can't wash her. too much snow outdoors. There are minor scratches. I mean minor. on the paint but looks awesome overall. Yes it does weep oil as any 43 year old Harley does. I'm talking 2-3 small droplets a month if that. I'm trying to be as informative as possible. an informed buyer is a happy one! The bike is a great bike you won't be disappointed. Fresh oil change! Ready to ride now just needs a rider!
