WOW real deal Nice Original 1936 Harley Davidson Knucklehead,Knuckle frame

Please read the entire description before bidding. First. I don't want to ship this frame. I can store the frame for a reasonable amount of time. You can pick up at my residence. I live just south of Kansas City. I could possibly deliver to the Oley. PA AMCA meet for an additional $200. 00 (I would have to rent a larger vehicle to haul it). or I can deliver to the Fairmont. NE AMCA meet for $50. 00. This is a very nice 36 frame that has had some old repairs and a few modern weld repairs. I got this frame with some other stuff and don't know all of the history of it. It still retains all of the original tubing and castings with hallmark and casting numbers. It is roughly 8-9 pounds lighter than later knuckle frames. We did a rough check on the frame and it appears to be straight. I would not hesitate to use this frame as is for a barn bike or could restore it for a pretty bike. This frame was obviously sent back to the factory hence the longer down tube sleeves and the factory repair numbers being stamped in rear of seat post cluster. The sleeves are 7" longer then the other 36 frames. I've heard of a few of these being around in the past. There is more info on the long sleeves repairs in "Thee Book" Greg Fields Knuckleheads page 41. This is a rare bird. probably the hardest part to find for a 36. since there was not many produced and most of them being destroyed or replaced with a 37 or later frame. I've heard racers/hill climbers like them also because they are lighter. I won't reveal the reserve so please bid what you are comfortable with.
