Description

I am selling my 1982 commemorative addition Harley Davidson FXR for $10. 00 Or Best Offer. I am willing to negotiate. The bike has less than 40. 00 original miles and is in great condition. It's power house is a 1340cc (80ci)Shovel Head Motor. The heads. S&S carburetor. valves and rocker boxes have just been redone along with a brand new battery. I just put almost $1400. 00 into the overhaul. and the mechanic went through the whole bike and gave it high marks. The newly refurbished motor has around 13 miles on it!!! The tires are in great shape as well. This is a "RARE" HD. It is the first of the FXR models and there were only 6. 55 produced that year. This bike has one of the the first HD 5 speed transmissions (which shifts perfectly) and a rubber mounted engines (The first was '80 FLT Tour Glide). It also has duel front disc brakes. If you research the '82 FXR you will find that it was one of the most powerful best handling bikes ever made by HD. This bike is 99% original and I have all the original parts less the turn signals which can be found if you look in he right place. I am Including a set of custom made saddle bags and a garage cover. I also have the original owners manuel. mechanics manuel and the paper work from the previous (California!!!) owner showing the maintenance records for the bike. It runs like new!!! The only issues are minor cosmetics such as the original paint. a small gas tank dent and some need of polishing the chrome but all in all it looks awesome. I have installed forward controls as well as custom mirrors and gauges (and have the originals). You want this bike!!!! Call or text to discuss a time to come see this beauty of Harley Davidson collectable history. and remember God rides an FXR!!!!
