UP FOR AUCTION: 1954 Harley Davidson FL Panhead (Harley’s Anniversary year) The bike has a 74 cubic inch motor with original VIN #’s on motor case. No numbers have been filed down and restamped! Belly numbers are worn. not sure if they match. they are covered by skid plate. • 4-speed ratchet top transmission with a mouse trap hand clutch/foot shift. • Harley O-Ring heads. 6-Volt electrical system with 3 brush generator. Manual advance circuit breaker. • Harley unmolested straight leg frame. • Original '54 tanks and fenders. The rear fender is a '55. it has the larger hole in it. because Harley changed the tail light that year. I’m running the tombstone light with a larger gasket to cover the hole. Tail Light has all the correct “Guide” Harley Davidson glass in it. Original stainless steel private strips on rear fender. • Original 1-1/2" model M Linkert carburator with original stainless steel j-slot air cleaner. • Correct front stainless steel Hydro Glide tins and "Guide" head light bucket. • Original spot light brackets. but lights are Repop. • Working original Jubilee horn. • Original speedometer (not working) • Front and rear Mechanical brakes. • Good “Coker” 16” tires front and rear. • Original luggage rack and Crash bars front and back. Paint is not original. It’s “Mack Truck” green. Has a few scratches. but shines up nice. Chrome is not show quality but it dose still look good. I have owned this bike for the last ten years. Purchased this bike from my brother-in-law. who had the motor and transmission professionally rebuilt by a reliable motor cycle machine shop. He rarely rode the bike for the first year after the rebuild. because he already owned a '53. After I purchased it from him. I only got to ride it once or twice a year (rode it once in the last 3 years. end of September 2014—that was to move it from friends garage to where I have it in storage) Too busy to ride. So motor and tranny have less than 2. 00 miles on rebuilt. This bike runs and rides great. You are buying a complete running bike. This bike is sold “as is”. Payment of $500. 00 deposit will be via PayPal within 24 hours of end of auction. Remaining balance will be payable cash in person upon pickup. or bank wire transfer within 7 calendar days.
