Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Forty Eight

Selling my beloved Black Sportster Forty Eight. I have cherished this bike and used her daily and for weekend leisure rides. The engine oil has been changed every 2500 miles. the gearbox oil every 5000 miles. twice as often as is recommended. Weekly washes and attention to fine detail have ensured an excellent standard of cleanliness and presentation; though she is showing signs of wear (use) some would say she is acquiring a nice patina. Owned and maintained by me (I am the second owner) for the past 2 1/2 years; I have been a Harley Davidson owner and enthusiast for the past 25 years. HD trained;  I have maintained the bike to a high standard. using only HD oils. lubes and parts. I have all receipts to prove. including the recorded mileage and date.  Le Pera bare bones seat. nostalgic hand grips. She is fitted with SE slip fit mufflers and a K&N (perpetual) air filter element inside the standard air box cover - she runs smooth (not too loud) and she has the right look-not too fussy or overstated;  V5. 2 keys and 2 security fobs. owners manual and HD workshop manual (cost ?60) but is included in the sale. MOT until Oct 15. HPI clear. Avon Cobra tyres front and rear (front >80%. rear >60% left)A bike that has been ridden daily; she runs like a Swiss watch. I have never left her outside; she has always been garaged overnight and at my place of work. For sale due to the recent purchase of a HD Dyna - no room left in my garage.  PP payment preferred. or cash on collection.
