Description

1992 Harley FXRS Lowrider SportThis was my first Harley which I've owned for about 5 years. I didn't want to sell it but I'm short of space so something has to go. It was pristine and had only covered 8. 00 miles when I bought it back in 2010. since then I've done another 30. 00 miles or so. all over the UK and Europe. As a result she is no longer in such pristine condition. though with a clean & polish still looks good. I can't verify the mileage but I do have most. if not all. of the old MOT's and the original owners manual. This bike has the 1340cc Evo engine which runs and sounds great. The exhaust is aftermarket and the carb is a Screaming Eagle. Tyres are good. front and back. This bike is in very good condition for it's age (23 years). though no major faults there are a few things worth mentioning:Throttle cables are a little stiff. may need an oil or replacement. Small paint chip on the tank. Some chrome peeling. Frame down tubes and swingarm have been painted with Hammerite smooth. Small split on either side of the seat. Oil leak. possibly from gearbox. not much. just seems to happen when riding. Very occasionally the carb float doesn't seat properly leading fuel dripping when parked. The bike is registered in my name at the address you will pick the bike up from and is pick up only. I prefer cash or bank transfer not paypal. either way payment to be made prior to riding. If it helps I don't mind collecting you from the bus/train station. Important - I never end auctions early so please don't ask. neither do I want an exchange or any other sort of deal. Genuine questions will be answered promptly. requests to end early or other scams will be ignored. You are bidding to buy. not to haggle or just come and kick the tyres. I believe I've given a very honest description of the bike but if you feel it is inaccurate then you are not obliged to buy it.
