This Harley Servi-Car has had a lot of restoration completed but there is still work to do. It was completely disassembled and rebuilt frame up. The frame was bead blasted and then powder coated. Brakes were rebuilt with new wheel cylinders +. A new wiring harness replaced the old frayed one. The engine was rebuilt with new pistons (+. 020) and valves. New crank seal installed. The transmission was disassembled. cleaned and reassembled with new seals. I have a complete log of the work done to make this a good running vehicle that I will be happy to provide to an interested buyer. It started on the third kick after the rebuild. It is an easy starting and smooth running engine. The body has all major parts needed to complete. as far as I know. It had a lot of surface rust which I bead blasted off. The inside of the box has not been done as well as some of the box frame members. See pictures. I have a new repop front fender. I also have the original rear fenders. They are pretty thin and will take some work to get into paintable condition. but they are doable. Repops are available. also. The box itself is in very good shape for an original. You can see the old bondo. I removed all of it from the back panel. The box lid has been bead blasted inside and out to bare metal. Chain guard included but not installed. Same for a set of drag pipes that I got to replace the rusted out pipes that were on the bike when I got it. A new (in box) correct battery is also included. The tires are new. Mileage is unknown. The speedo works but at 2x actual speed. A different gear is needed for the speedo. In the photos the box is sitting on the frame but is not attached. The frame has the correct springs but shocks will have to be acquired. Wherever possible I reused the original hardware. All of it was rusty. Each nut and bolt was wire wheeled down to bare metal then given a hot oil treatment to return to a normal patina. It came out very well. When I got this vehicle I was told that it had been stored in a metal shed in Florida for 20 years. It was in very sad shape and the engine would not turn. It is now a licensed and titled driver. It has been driven in the Vail. CO 4th of July parade for many years carrying large flags flying from the frame. Always a crowd pleaser. After getting this to driving condition I got involved in the restoration of a Chinese military aircraft. Unfortunately that stopped all work on this project and to this day I am still flying that ship while the Servi-Car sits in my garage in AZ. It is time for someone to get this rare item back on the road. Good luck bidding and please contact me with any questions.
