One of the nicest custom Sportster you will ever see & believe it or not the mileage listed is correct - 1300 that's thirteen hundred not 13. 00 thirteen thousand. I bought this bike last summer with 579 original miles on it. The story I was told was a lady in Arizona had it built by a custom Harley shop in 1997. On her way home with the bike she stopped at her doctor & got the news - she was pregnant so she decided then & there she wouldn't ride a motorcycle while she was raising a child. It sat for 12 years covered in her garage & she decided to sell it to a guy in California for his wife. His wife had problems with the strength in her hands & could not squeeze the clutch. So he rode it a few hundred miles & put it for sale. When I bought the bike it was a God awful purple & white. So I decided to paint it an antique blue & cream paint scheme. I also pulled the rear fender back 2 inches & welded an extension to the front so it now has a full size rear fender. Looks much better. I added an early style seat & luggage rack. Sitting at the curb it looks like an antique. This is the second Fatster I have dealt with. I built an orange & cream one 8 years ago with a Springer front end - it was beautiful. I love light bikes but I also love fat wheels. tanks & fenders. I just like that antique cruiser look with modern mechanics. This bike is without question brand new. It hasn't got a scratch or smudge on it. The paint job was done by Billy Crewl aka Billy the Kid or Little Billy. I traded a big screen television for the paint job & what a job it is. As I say. it is new & has no issues whatsoever - ready to go. Nice bike for an old man. a lady or somebody small of stature. When you stand next to it. hard to believe it is a Sportster.
