1972 Harley Davidson FX Superglide - AKA. Boat Tail and Night Train6. 39 Original MilesPurchased from original owner 23 years agoBike was painted by original owner 28 years ago. still show qualityThe bike is more rare than the 1971 (1972's had a steel sportster style rear fender and a king and queen seat). It boasts all its original unrestored parts except the following:Muffler (O. E. style replacement)Rear Rim and Spokes (O. E. style replacement)Battery (H-D replacement)The original tail section is perfect with no cracks or repairs as is the seat cushion and leather. no cracks or pulled stitching. The bike rides on its original Goodyear tires. Mechanically the bike runs and functions like it did the day it was built. It has had routine maintenance preformed by certified mechanics throughout its life to keep it in running and driving condition. It starts on the first kick and is routinely started and driven around the block few times to ensure it is always in ready to ride condition. The bike has never been wrecked and very bright and clean. Always a show favorite!PAYMENTPayment for the bike will be required to take place in the following manner. As soon as the auction ends the buyer is required to make a deposit of $1000 USD through PayPal within 48 hours to confirm their interest as a serious buyer. Then a certified cashiers check will be required for exactly the remaining amount that is owed on the bike. The check will need to be received within 7 days of the end of the auction. Once the certified cashiers check is received and it clears and is verified through the sellers bank. a final bill of sale breaking down the total received for the bike will be emailed to the buyer. Also. at this point once final payment is secured the title will then be signed over and sent to the buyer and a date can be set for the bike to be picked up. SHIPPINGThe buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and methods and is responsible for picking the bike up after the sale is complete. The buyer can either pick the bike up in person from its location in Algonac. MI or use a third party shipping service at their cost. All the seller will be responsible for is having someone present at the time of pick up.
