1948 EL Panhead

Up for auction is my 1948 EL Panhead. This is a great example of a restored and mostly stock first year Pan. Bike starts. runs and rides great. Vin is un-altered and belly numbers match. This bike has a rebuilt speedo and mileage reflects that. Paint is in good shape but does have some scratches and wear spots. Sheet metal is straight and ding free. Known repop parts are front fender. seat. marker light. primary cover. tool box. Front brake lever I believe is HD servicar and not correct for this bike. I have neck lock key and tool box key but do not have ignition key. Like all old Harley's it leaks oil as it should. I ride this bike. it is not a show bike. If you want a trophy or some such please don't bid. Understand I am a lover of old HD motorcycles but I am definitely not an expert. I will do my best to answer any and all questions. When I purchased the bike I also received what I believe to be are OEM parts for this bike (see photos). These parts include the tool box. front fender with brace. fender tip. primary cover. and marker light. I will include all these parts with the winning bid as well as a Carl's Cycle petcock and replica 6volt HD battery with sealed gel battery inside. This bike is a joy to ride!
