drfusion store 1997 Harley-Davidson Heritage Springer FLSTS 3100 Miles! Burch White/Red Mint Up for auction is my 1997 Harley-Davidson FLSTS Heritage Springer motorcycle. I am the second owner having bought it in 1996. When these were introduced at Harley dealers. they were all sold. Only 1500 birch white with red trim color combinations were made. The Heritage Springer was an attempt to recreate the 1948 Panheads of early days. With fat tires. passing lamps. fishtail mufflers. exposed chrome springer front fork and tooled and fringed leather saddlebags. it certainly is a head turner. This bike is mechanically stock and sound. It has been stored off the ground on a lift in a heated garage since I have owned it. The bike was never ridden in the rain. The leather is soft and appears day-one new. The ignition switch was replaced under warranty in 1997 by Harley. A Dyna-Jet kit was put into the carburator in 1998 by an authorized Harley dealer. The 500 mile service and 2500 mile service was done by authorized Harley dealers. The engine oil. chaincase oil and transmission oil were changed at 2950 miles by myself. This bike is loaded with vintage Harley-Davidson chrome and leather.
