1998 Harley Davidson XL883 Sportster

I am the third owner of this bike. A friend of mine needed some money so I helped him out by buying it. knowingly paying a little bit more than what it's worth (I paid $5. 00 for the bike). He purchased the bike. all original. with about 5. 00 miles on it. He did all of the modifications that you see in the picture. Originally. the bike was two tone blue with HD striping and decals. He put on new rims. new tank. apes. cables. painted fenders black. etc. I'm not looking to make money on this deal. just looking to get rid of it. I've put no more than 5 tanks of gas through this thing and it runs fantastic and is pretty darn clean for the mileage. The previous owner also worked at Cozaihr HD in Forsyth. IL thus providing first hand knowledge and mechanical integrity. His main use of the bike was about a 60 - 70 mile round trip between Champaign IL and Decatur IL. Mostly highway miles. This is the 3rd harley I've owned and it runs and shifts great. I've ridden 1200 sportys before and this 883 pulls great. I'm also not a numbers guy and don't need to justify riding a sportster simply because 883 is smaller than 1200. At the end of the day. it's all about the ride!!Any questions. feel free to message.
