2009 HARLEY DAVIDSON SOFTAIL SPRINGER CVO SCREAMIN EAGLE

Its that time of year again. riding time. So if your seriously shopping for one of these. you already know that CVO's are limited edition and higher end expensive bikes due to the limited build numbers. custom paint. extra chrome. etc. They are pretty much top of the line at HD. This is not a run of the mill Black with an accent color HD you see everywhere. And if you have ever added chrome parts to a standard HD. you know what all this chrome costs as well. This is an "ooooo" and "aaaahhh" bike when people see it. In fact. HD doesn't even release the paint code numbers or the custom paint layout to the public if you wanted to replicate the bike or paint a part. All replacement painted parts have to be ordered direct from HD and they come in already painted custom from HD. So this bike is not only a CVO. but a Springer CVO making it even rarer and more sought after. If you like Springer bikes. there are not many made and I"m not sure HD made another one since 2009. The extra chrome on the front end for the springer suspension is super nice too. To add even more value. of the three colors made that year in this model (Blue. Black. ellow) each with different color flames (silver. green. orange respectively). the metallic yellow with orange flames is easily the hottest. and is also the rarest of the three colors made from a production standpoint. Probably approx 200- 400 made. This bike is not for everyone simply because most HD's are Black and that's what most guys prefer. However. if you don't follow the crowd. and you shop for a bike the same way you might shop for a convertible sports car. then you realize how rare all of the hot colors are in Harley's. Black . Dark Red. and Blue probably represent 95% of the Harley population year over year. And even of the rest of the color pallet. the Yellows and Oranges are extemely rare. And done well with a flame or a hot design. even rarer. These are colors more often seen on custom choppers vs an HD. The bike was hardly used as evidenced by its super low mileage. Its been garaged. covered. on a battery tender. and started often when it was not in use. I added a few bolt on HD accessories like: Backrest with rack. lighted mirrors. helmet locks. and changed bulbs to LED's. I have every nut. bolt. washer. bulb. and original mirror that came with bike safely tucked away for anyone who seeks original original. I also have every document. key fob. air cleaner cover. CVO Bike cover. book. pin. pamphlet. etc. etc that came with the bike originally. So if your into provenance and value. this bike represents that too.
