1981 Harley Super Glide: Freshly built High Compression Shovelhead, FL Front End

81 Harley Super Glide with clear HD1 title. Numbers matching!!! 80" Shovelhead motor. it has a 5 speed trans and a Shovel era FL front end. The bike handles really great. It's ugly. It has deep scratches on the gas tank. It needs a battery. The kickstand needs a new rubber insert. No turn signals and the only way to start it is to turn the key in the ignition. It's a turd cosmetically. Why do you want it? Freshly rebuilt motor in June of last year. less than 1. 00 miles since. I have a receipt showing $3300 dollars worth of work done by Guy's Cycle in Markham. Illinois. Motor was torn down. gone through and rebuilt. Cylinders bored and honed. new clutch. new stator. rebuilt S&S Super E carb. and tons of other new parts. Cylinder heads have compression releases on them. This thing runs so strong and sounds great. Third shovel I've had and it runs by far the best. Quicker than my Twin Cam in a drag. The extra gear in the tranny makes a big difference over the original 4 speed when riding on the highway. I haven't ridden it since December. but I threw a battery from my other bike in it and it fired right up. This thing is a great start to something badass. All of the high dollar work is done.
