Description

1937 HARLEY DAVIDSON UL FLATHEAD

For sale is a gorgeous 1937 Harley Davidson UL Flathead with an interesting history. This bike was found in the early ‘90s in Iowa as a complete motorcycle and restored by Adolph Ogar, a well-known collector and restorer in the antique motorcycle community. The bike later became part of Dale Walksler’s collection and was featured in the 1995 Harley Davidson calendar (June). It is also appears in at least two Harley Davidson pictorial books by Doug Mitchell (although described as a ULH, it is actually a UL).

The bike has been ridden little and well preserved since its restoration. Correct, OEM parts include the engine, transmission, frame (open brake stay with correct hallmarks), springer front end with early rockers, front and rear fenders, fuel tanks, Linkert M-51 carburetor, handlebars, speedometer (by John Bordas), working Delco Remy horn, 36E 6V generator, oil tank, front and rear stepped hubs, rims, rocker clutch assembly, etc. The bike starts, runs and rides great. It's not perfect, but it's awfully nice.

Feel free to call me for more details at 214-876-5038.

Thanks!
