1985 Harley Davidson Electraglide FLHT Classic

Vintage: 1985 HD Electra Glide All stock original parts. Starts, runs and drives. This bike has been ridden recently but needs a little work to be road worthy. In doing a complete analysis of the bike I have noticed that the carburetor float switch may be stuck which causes the gas to continuously flow, this is the only mechanical issue. The bike will need a little reconditioning due to the old parts weathering. Example: throttle cable spring and cables, chain adjustment, and a new battery. The rest of the work is cosmetics and accessories like levers, handle bars windshield and radio. Keys are original though they don't seem to lock anything. Tires are good for at least one more season. Lights are all operational. Brakes may need replacing at some point. Fairings are in tack no cracks, just faded paint. After market fishtail pipes sound OK, not too heavy or loud. Overall a great motorcycle for reconditioning. Great bike, ready for upgrades. Bring your mechanic.

Engine: 80 cubic inch, 5 speed transmission.

I am not in the area to release the bike until 5/22.

This bike does not fit a 8' trailer with the gate closed due to the extended tail pipes.
