Pristine unaltered black Harley Dyna Police FXDP

For sale is this unmolested Harley Dyna FXDP. There are very few in the country un-abused & left intact, and fewer yet as pristine as this one.

This is a 2004 model with about 9, 00 miles. A girl bought it new, put 1, 00 miles on it, & I bought it from her. I am an adult who has ridden for 50 years. It has never served on a police force. Bike is pampered, kept in a heated garage, has never been bar-hopped, abused, or laid down at any speed.

The FXDP (P for police) has an 88 inch engine, conventional carb, and a 5 speed transmission, all blacked out. Front to rear, it has dual front brakes (this Dyna only), stock 4" over on the front tubes, passing lamps (civilian - pursuit when police, a certified speedo, tach, stock mini-ape bars with stock siren & pursuit switches, a large cop windshield, and a front crash bar in black.

The floor boards & controls are mounted slightly up & back from civilian, which gives the rider an arms-straight vertical posture. There are police emblems on the dash and air cleaner, nbsp;a power supply jack on the dash, and an over-wide comfortable solo seat. All the controls, pedals, seat, and floor boards look new. Original exhaust pipes have always been on and are in very good condition. With the exception of the Viking bags currently mounted, the rail behind the seat that I added (from an HD, & the luggage rack, everything is standard issue Harley FXDP as came with this bike.

The bike has never had a passenger pad or pegs, but the brackets are there since the are used to support the big cop poly bags and rear roll bars. With the tall handle bars and low seat, the bike is easy to handle, and fun to mount & ride.

The hard poly cop saddle bags, rear roll bars, and front passing lamps have all been carefully removed, are in excellent condition, and are included in this sale. There is an OK set of Viking bags on the bike now. OK bags - crappy brackets.

I added the rear luggage rack to protect fender paint, and a chrome rail on the back of the seat. Both are beautifully done. A good Clymer repair manual is included.

Four photos show the bike as currently configured, and one shows it with the cop bags & passing lamps mounted. It would probably take an afternoon to get it back to police configuration.
