Vintage harley Davidson Topper Scooter pair Scooters 1961 1962 1963 1964

For auction are these Vintage Harley davidson Topper scooters.

These are barn find scooters and they have been in storage for many years. They look like they were not ridden very much before they were put away.

1 of them has 986 miles on the odometer and the other one has 1829 miles.

The paint has some grime on it from sitting and they would look alot nicer if you buffed and waxed them.

The black one has some paint flaking on the front leg shield area and a few other places. Orange one has a few small places of paint flaking but not as much as the black one.

These are in great unrestored condition. They are non running and will both need a restoration but they are completely original.

The motors turn over but on one of them the pull starter rope will not go back down into the motor. Also included with the bikes is a clutch cover and clutch springs that came with them when we bought them.

These scooters were stored in an oldbarn and they did have some mice and cats so there is some mice smell and old barn smell to them. They will need to be detailed and cleaned and washed really good.

1 of them has some rust scaling on the swingarm and also on the frame down tube so they will probably need to be soda blasted and soaked. Also some parts may need to be replaced on these scooters during restoration.

The motors will more than likely need to be freshened up and restored due to sitting for so long. Also they will need tires and the typical restoration parts to get them going again.

They were found as a pair so we thought it would be nice to leave them as a pair and sell them as a pair and keep them together.

The orange one has a title that matches the engine number. The black one does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale only. We will not be able to provide a title for the black one and that will be the sole responsibility of the new owner to apply for a title if your state requires one for that bike.

These scooter are being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. The black one rolls good but the orange one has a stuck rear wheel but its pretty easy to load if you take the cover off and grab the frame rail. We can help you load them or a transporter from Uship if you choose to have someone else come get them.

Payment terms: We would prefer not to use paypal for payment on these scooters. If you have no other way to pay except paypal we will accept it but prefer not to pay the PP fees if possible. Cashiers check or cash would be preferred. We are allowing 10 days for payment so that you have plenty of time to get the check in the mail. Check must clear our bank before we will release possession of the scooters.

We can store these scooters inside for up to 60 days to give you plenty of time to arrange transportation .

Our reserve is set at less than the value of these scooters so please keep that into consideration when bidding. We have been informed the value of them is about 4000 each.
