Thunder Mountain Firestone w/ Jims 120 motor - Harley Custom Chopper

2007 Thunder Mountain Firestone Chopper with optional Jims 120 motor 6 speed transmission and right side drive. Thunder Mountains are mostly Harley parts and were distributed exclusively by Harley Dealerships. Manuals and parts are still easily available since they are Harley parts. This bike is a one off custom Black with blue flames. It has the 280 rear tire upgraded tuner installed by local motorcycle speed shop and dyno tuned. It is a SCREAMER! Custom Vance and Hines pipes. It is low Wide LOUD and crazy powerful. An absolute blast to ride and you will be assaulted with waves thumbs up and requests for pictures. I have even been subjected to the occasional flash. If you are looking for a bike you can cruise around anonymously thisis NOT it. They will hear you coming and once they see it you will not be mistaken for anyone else.

It has the optional passenger seat which is a full seat with backrest that mounts into the chrome frame rails for the rear fender so it doesn't rest on the paint at all. It has the quick release feature and custom saddle bags for storage. My wife doesn't care how many bikes I have so long as she can ride with me so this bike was perfect for us. I dropped the seat and back rest for the solo chopper and could toss the seat back on for cruising night with the wife. Seat costs $800 on ebay plus bags.

Windvest windscreen was added. it is bar mounted and can be pulled off easily and quickly if you prefer the clean look. the lines of the screen never detracted from the looks for me but made long rides more bearable.

Standard Harley gauges and controls. Big Dog fuel gauge on left side of tank. looks like a chrome cap but lights up blue for fuel gauge. Riding position is slightly forward with legs out front on forward controls. I am 5'10 and I have plenty of leg room and am not too stretched out for long rides. I rode this bike from Wenatchee Washington to Los Angeles California in a day. It isn't an ultra classic for comfort but it won't cripple you either like some choppers. It is a soft tail frame so the ride is smooth and adjustable. Engine area has blue LED's.

Tires still have life left in them and the service is fresh. I am selling because I havenot rode it as much since moving from California to Oklahoma last year (bike is not California smogged or restricted since it was only tagged in Washington and Oklahoma never California).

There is so much to say about this bike and the pictures really don't do it justice.

The bad is as follows: there is a chip on the front fender (see pic with my finger pointing it out) there is another on the rear fender (also shown with my finger) and a blemish on the tank (pic with yet another finger). all of them are in the black and an easy fix with black touch up paint or if you want to show the bike again then a professional can blend it very easy (cheap) since they are all far enough away from the blue flames that it can be done without affecting the custom colors. I didn't fix because I ride and chips happen and I wasn't sure if the next buyer would want it done professionally so they could show it again.

loan value without passenger seat custom tuner or custom pipes is $16600. There is no RESERVE on the bike. For sale locally so auction may end early. Title is clear and in my safe. I will accept cash or paypal (see terms of split on 2.9% fee)only (unless you are getting a loan from a bank in my area so they can transfer funds or I am present at time of bank check draft sorry but too many scams on fake cashiers checks).

mileage was as of 5/17/15 and subject to change. There were also 2 other firestones listed on ebay at the time I listed this one. The cheaper one was $16000 and had bad chrome blemished paintscratched grips and mirror (been dropped or road rash) and the other was $17800 in comparable condition. neither had passenger seat. I will work with a shipper for pickup or I can deliver to a shipper in Tulsa Ok once funds clear.
