1969 Harley Sportster XLH All Original 683 miles!

Up for sale is this all original 1969 Harley-Davidson XLH Sportster with just 683 miles.Yes! Just 683 real original miles. The bike is all original down to the tires. The paint tires exhaust everything is factory original.The bike has been off the road since 1970. The bike had been started every few years to keep things in good condition but not ridden. The gas was also drained so the inside of the gas tank is in great shape. I have not cleaned the bike. It is in "as found" condition from the original owner. I have only installed a new battery and added gas and oil to start the bike.The bike fired right up and ran great. It will need the carb rebuilt before it can be ridden but it did run good and it did not smoke or have any obvious mechanical defects.The original owner gave up riding motorcycles the year after purchasing the motorcycle but could not bear to sell it so it just sat in the garage all these years.There is plenty of dust on the bike but it will clean up great. The original Sparkling Burgundy paint is in great shape and will polish up easily.The saddlebags even have the original date codes inside them. I also found the original factory "initial start-up instructions" inside the saddlebag.The windshield has warped over time otherwise the bike is in like new condition.I doubt you will ever find another 1960's full dress Sportster in this condition with such low miles.
