1976 Harley Davidson Sportster XLH 1000 cc Ironhead - Excellent Condition

Nice vintage 76 Sporty it's pretty much a daily rider. Takes you back to some of the biker movies of the late 60's and early 70's. Just put a new clutch cable on. Has a modern Mikuni carburertor with easy to use thumb screw for idle adjustment after it warms up on the road. Runs great nice easy electric starts sets low to the ground. I've had this bike several years now so I know it is good. Has a clear Kansas Title and mileage shows about 18000 now. Information I got when I bought it was that engine had be gone through and was like new. and has won some bike shows. It looks like it no smoke at all rarely even a drop of oil under the bike. I ride it just about every day. Same oil goes in engine & transmission have been using 20-50 Castrol since I ride this bike at least some year around. Tires are decent battery is fairly new and you can charge it on the bike. Will try to put up a video of it running on YouTube if I can figure out how to do that with camera I have. Rumbling vintage Ironhead Harley sound could be louder with straight pipes but just about right for me. An original Owner's Manual & a Haynes Service Manual will come with it. Think you'll like it. Going to move up to something a little bigger. This bike is easy to work on too by the way.
