Auction: RARE & Beautiful Show Winner 1973 Harley Davidson "Police Special" Servi-Car.Last Official Year of Servi-Car production. End of an Era. 1 of only 425 made in 1973 & ONLY Year Servi-Car to have a Front Disc Brake & Auto-style Rear Parking Brake ALL documented by H-D Archives in Milwaukee Wi.

Owned since 2003 & was NEVER INTENDED TO BE SOLD... SO NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED on everything that has been Restored Rebuilt & / or Replaced to this point. + NOS Parts used as much as possible.

Havedocumented folder of Receipts totalling over $4000. in Parts Alone included.

NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE. Getting harder to find Units of this Quality. Just out of storage forthese pics.

Frame VIN: matchingthe Harley Davidson Title + Matching belly #'s. Originally issued to Atlanta Ga. Police Dept ALL verified by H-D Archives.

Adult owned & has been & NOT abused.

ENGINE: 45" Flathead that has been Meticulously Rebuilt Inside & Out + Top to Bottom with New #6 Heads added forcooling. New #6 Alloy heads (today) cost over $700. Small H-D kehin cv carb with PEEK intake seals. Stock exhaust was un-acceptable so true-duals were modified by adding internal Heat coating baffle bolts + extending dual exhaust pipes to exit at the rear axle on Left side (as stock did).

Good Solid Runner: afterrebuild &barely broken-in. Mostly competing in bike shows initially.Then due to relocating& circumstances bike was Properly Prepped & been stored sincelate 07.

Transmission: Correct 3 Speed with Reverse Trans which also recieved the same level of Meticulous Restoration & detail as did the engine. Engine & Trans done by Old FlatHead Specialist.

Servi Box Lid Tanks & Sheetmetal: Are ALL in Very Good condition. Paint: is Very Presentable older 2 Stage Paint Job. White base coat with very small amount of metallic added in 1st clear coat then more clear coats added. Very subtle look yet striking in the right light. Pics don't do it justice.

Electric Start: Correct complete & in Very Good condition as well. GM "1 wire" Alternator (looks stock) yet simple w/ Rock solid reliability (will need battery). New Primary & Secondary Chains New Barnett Kevlar Clutches New Pressure plate springs NewThrow Out Bearing & Stainless Steel Battery Box.

Original Owners Manual + Original H-D Police Special Speed-O (needs restored) included.

Currently in dash is aftermarket Police Special Speed-O whichwork fine.

(2003)New Rear Brake Shoes wheel cylinders & brake lines need bled. Original licence plate mounting bracket & OE Shift knob.

Also: 2 sets of keys (4 in Total) For IGN Switch & Box Lid Latch. Both work & Lock properly.
