Motorcycle:

This is a GORGEOUS 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Custom. What's better then a street-eater? How about a custom street-eater? Harley began by giving the Sportster Custom their famed rubber-mounted Evolution engine raised handlebars and a lowered suspension. Then on top of that they gave it easy to reach forward foot controls.

It all starts with the XL Evolution engine. The "Evo" engine is a 45-degree air-cooled V-Twin that has been a mainstay in the Sportster since 1986. It is most distinct from earlier Harley engines by virtue of its reliability oil tightness and ability to run hard in all circumstances for tens of thousands of miles longer then any other engine before it.

The Sportster is one of Harleys most recognizable bikes. This is mostly in part to their resemblance to their predecessors. The peanut fuel tank staggered exhaust and low slung sleek stance stand apart from other manufacturers. Cruisers should also be about getting out and having fun not about maintenance headaches. That's why the Sportster's belt drive makes so much sense. Clean virtually maintenance-free and efficient; it's the smart choice.

This Sportster also comes with a set of chrome hand grips chrome hypercharger and a set of Vance and Hines exhaust pipes. These accessories really add up to make this a bike that looks as good as it rides. Plus you get that aggressive sound that Harley has been traditionally known for.

Of course it does come with a clean title.

Condition:

This bike is inEXCELLENT condition. It could almost be passed of as showroom new. It's nearly perfect and with 18089 miles.

The engine is perfect and fires immediately.It revs perfectly andruns greatwith no misses noises leaks or smoke.

Not much to say on condition. We tried to look for blemishes and we unable to find anything that stood out except for a couple scuffs on the seat pad. Something at some point has rubbed against the seat leaving some evidence of having done so. The seat is NOT cut or cracked just scuffed. We have even provided a picture below to show you exactly what it looks like. The paint fenders and frame are all extremely nice and this machine is ready to ride right out the doors. Itseems to have been well care for and maintained. Our guess is that the previous owner kept it covered and stored inside. Someone is going to get a GREAT machine for a great price.

Everything on it functions exactly as it should.

Overall this is a very nice Motorcycle that will make someone very happy. No games here it will sell. As for transaction details We are MLS Powersports located in Georgetown Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75 15 miles North of Lexington KY and 75 South of Cincinnati OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person but we will also accept a certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements.

If you pick this motorcycle up in person we are required to collect sales tax from residents of the following states: Michigan Indiana California Arizona Florida Massachusetts South Carolina and Washington.

If you have it delivered to you anywhere outside of Kentucky you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state.

If it ships it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal but it is used and sells as-is. Thanks and happy bidding.

We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada.We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
