Description

Reluctantly selling my Harley after finding that I just do not ride it enough to justify keeping it. I hope whoever decides to pick it up can take on the open road like i was never able to. I know I have had a blast riding thru the mountains of upstate NY and carving up the silky smooth CT roads. If I did not have other projects and toys I would without a doubt be keeping the bike but it is sadly time to move on. It has only been lightly modded and never beat on. It does handle great for a Harley and even my friends on Japanese sport bikes were impressed by it. If you are nearby I am more than willing to show it in person.UPDATE: people have seemed to have more of a concern with the paint defects on the left side of the tank so I've taken it to a guy to repaint that part of the tank. It's going to also have badges from a newer street bob put on it at the same time.THE GOOD- Stock 88ci EFI Engine (last and only year of the 88 on this model)- 6 speed transmission- H-D Screamin Eagle slip-ons- H-D Swing Arm Bag- H-D Red Turn/Brake Signal conversion kit- H-D 1-1/4" Satin Black 16" Fat Ape Hanger Handlebars- H-D Nostalgic Hand Grips- H-D Forward Controls- H-D Willie G Skull Key- Seat off a newer street bob (have stock 2-up seat as well)- Passenger Pegs removed (have them in a box will not fit with swingarm bag)- Side Mount License Plate- Tank Riser kit- Emblems from a newer Street BobTHE BAD- Typical brake reservoir leakiness You won't find another harley without it. Nothing serious check it throughout the year and never needs more fluid.- I will tell you how awesome the flat black looks but I will also be honest and tell you it is tough to maintain and scratches easily. hence why there are a few paint flaws in it.THE UGLY- Paint on left side of tank could use a respray (will be doing and price going up if it doesnt get sold ASAP)- UPDATE! Paint was not expensive at all to fix so had my guy sand and respray the left side of the tank. Looks great also threw on new badges from a newer Street Bob they look MUCH better than the old ones but I did save the old ones and you can have them if you want them. Since the respray on that was not expensive I will not be raising the price at all.- A few other small scratches here and there.- Some melted plastic from a rain suit on the exhaust just needs some elbow grease to scrape off.
