2001 HD Sportster Classic 1200

I bought this bike from an acquaintance a few years ago and had my mechanic go over it carefully before I took her out. He recommended new tires and made some adjustments on the brakes and gave her a clean bill of health. When my daughter turned 13 she didn't want to be seen with her dad much less ride with him so other than a few warm up rides she has languished in the garage. The 1200 cc engine packs quite a wallop and you have to be careful to watch your speed. Go through the gears and you're topping 75. The gear lever and brake are front mounted for comfort and there's a little lip on the rear passenger seat to keep you on the bike when you're running the gears. The custom pipes are loud but legal. The back seat has a nice backrest for your lady with the Harley insignia on it. The deal includes many extras ( 3 helmets S M L extra seat extra windshield). The tank and fenders are bright yellow with elaborate red scrollwork on tank and fenders. Hard to miss you on the road. I am willing to deliver the bike within 100 miles of Washington D.C. (Virginia West Virginia Pennsylvania) I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and will also deliver to Delaware . Payment through my Paypal account.
