2000 Harley Davidson “Heritage Softail Classic” Motorcycle

Color: Chrome Yellow and Vivid Black (a very unique and nostalgic color scheme I have rarely seen a twin to this bike at any of the events that I have taken her to)

I have had the bike since 2002 and am the second owner. I purchased the bike to ride with my Dad after he sold his mine has been sitting off and on so I felt that it was time for someone else to enjoy her. The bike has been garaged her entire life (the only time that she was not in the garage was when she was on the road and yes she has been caught out in the rain) and has never been wrecked or laid down. The saddle bags are showing the normal Heritage “sag” but not too bad.

A small dimple on the left side of the gas tank upper side towards rear (someone let the stock handlebars hit the tank when they were loose) a scratch on the oil cooler (left side) and two of the screws on the clutch cover (at the 3 and 5 o’clock positions) were over-torqued by someone ideally they should be heli-coiled but with Loc-Tite applied they have never leaked so I haven’t bothered with it.

The following are the upgrades that I have made to the bike:

• Deep trim rings on headlight passing lights and rear signal indicators (I also have the module that turns the rear lights into constant on running lights)

• Chrome 16” oversized handlebars (electrical wires hidden in bars)

• Braided stainless steel lines: Clutch and brake

• Drag Specialties tachometer (back-lit white face) chrome housing that mounts to the fork stem cap

• Arlen Ness flush mount fuel filter and matching fuel gauge and voltmeter (these are not currently working never had a chance to get to an electrician)

• Chrome Bar & Shield enrichener knob

• Oversized chrome Harley-Davidson Motor Co. fuel switch

• Finned spark plug inserts
