1945 Harley-davidson WL in Civilian Trim

I am currently e-baying several old motorcycles for a friend. This auction is for a nicely restored everyday ridera 1945 Harley-Davidson 45 Cubic Inch Flathead Motorcycle. My friend Louie purchased this motorcycle many years ago out of Rochester NY.

The cycle is a good runner with everything working as it should she fires up with a couple kicks and runs down the road very proudly.Linkert Carburetor and 6 Volt Charging System work well. The cycle currently has a GE (Servi-Car)engine installed however this auction alsoINCLUDES as removed the OriginalEngine a 1945 WL Engine. The New York State TRANSFERABLE Registration includes the Engine Serial Number or VIN for the 1945 WL which is 45WL1414 SEE PICTURES. It appears that the WL engine is rebuildable I am not sure why it was removed this is how Louie purchased it.The cycle includes the leather Saddlebags with mounting plates and straps as pictured with the previous owners nickname embossed in the straps (STRAIGHT) also includes the Double Buddy two up seat.

Now please understand this cycle has some re-pop parts such as the fenders but there are many original parts such as the taillight itlooks to be an original Harley-Davidson part. I am not sure about the front fender light. Please review all of the pictures carefully so that you know what you are bidding on.
