And if you’re salivating over this Custom (with a capital "C") note that you can own it because it’s an official 2004 Harley-Davidson model. Introduced for 1994 the Harley Road King was the successor to the Electra Glide Sport. Unlike the other FL-series Electra Glide dressers with their fairings saddlebags and sometimes a trunk the Road King offered a more basic approach to touring. It paired a simple windscreen with its hard saddlebags. Of course nobody leaves a Harley stock for long ! Now 10 model years after the Road King’s introduction the new Custom model is available leaned down and dressed up right from the factory BUT THIS BABY IS CUSTOMIZED WITH SEXINESS. just as you see it here. Climb aboard the Road King Custom and the first thing you’ll notice is the wide chromed beach-style handlebar and new saddle. And where’d the windscreen go? Because it’s a Custom CLASSIC and not your daddy’s Road King that stodgy screen has been replaced with a jaunty chromed flyscreen along with that fresh headlight trim and upper triple-clamp cover. Those new slimmed-down bullet turn signals attach to brackets on the handlebar (for easy removal?) and to the rear fender with a slim chromed bracket. The signals also serve as running lights; at night their cool amber glow plays across the chrome headlight trim. Who’s your daddy?! The tank console has also been stretched slimmed and topped with a new silver-faced speedometer which gives it a cleaner retro look and nicely complements the bike’s custom/classic styling. Likewise the rubber-mounted footboards and matching passenger pegs and brake pedal come with new retro-look rubber pads that continue the bike’s modern/retro look. Another hallmark of the new model is the fact that its fenders are mostly clean and unadorned sans chrome tips and other brightwork other than the "Road King" logo and the V-style emblem on the back. The latter is a winner reminiscent of those V-8 car emblems from the 1950s. SO THIS MINT CONDITION LOW MILES ROAD KING CUSTOMIZED CLASSIC OVERALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT. THE EXTERIOR SHOWS NO MAJOR DENTS DINGS OR SCRATCHES. THE INTERIOR ALSO SHOWS NO SIGNS OF ABUSE (SEE ALL PICTURES FOR MORE DETAILS.) THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AND THE TRANSMISSION IS SMOOTH.
