2004 Sportster 1200RUp for auction is my 2004 HD Sportster 1200R. This bike has been enhanced with a limited edition custom Harley Davidson paint set Leather HD fastback seat A loud slip-on exhaust and performance intake system. I bought this bike several years ago for my girlfriend and...well...she's gone so now the bike has to go too. I'm the second owner of this very low mileage Sportster. It originally came equipped with the smaller 3 gallon peanut tank. I found this custom red and silver scalloped paint set with the 4 gallon tank on Ebay a few years back and added it along with the fastback seat The paint set is an HD factory custom limited edition set. The bike looks fantastic and you won't likely see another one like it in your travels. This bike has the carburetted 1200cc engine. The carb has been re-jetted Slip=on exhaust added along with a performance air cleaner. Like most Sportsters it's cold blooded but once she warms up she really tears it up. Very fast very loud and with outstanding handling. The 1200R comes with dual front disc brakes and slightly taller suspension for enhanced handling and performance. I just replaced the battery last month. Tires are still in excellent condition with lots of tread left. This bike is in outstanding condition but it's not flawless. The prior owner had a mishap in his garage that chipped a few of the fins on the rear cylinder on the right side of the bike. I've included a close-up picture of the area so there are no surprises. The paint wheels and chrome are all in excellent used condition. I have several other motorcycles and this bike rarely gets ridden so it's time for it to go. Blue Book retail on this bike is around $4500 without figuring in any of the add-ons (the paint set was $1100 alone). But I'm going to run this as a no-reserve auction with a low starting price of $3400. High bidder will win this bike. I am selling this bike "as-is where-is". Winner will be responsible for pick-up and transportation. If you are within 100 miles of Philadelphia PA I may be able to deliver it to you for 75 cents per mile plus tolls. Please ask any questions before bidding. I have a clear title in hand and will prefer a cash deal
