1985 Harley Davidson Softail Excellent Condition

For sale is my 1985 Harley Davidson Softail Standard. This is the second year of the Evolution engine and the last year of the kickstarter (which is functional). The bike has a custom paint job different rear fender drag pipes 4 speed transmission electric start all lights work. I am the second owner. The previous owner did the custom paint work and pin striping he also rebuilt the top end. The bike has been my project over the winter and the list of things I had done to it follows: Carburetor cleaned and adjusted new pet-cock regulator replaced new stator added throttle return cable (it didn't have it when I bought it) oil change within the last 80 miles I added high flow baffles into the exhaust to help add some back pressure it still sounds amazing. Brand new Harley Davidson battery. Never dropped but I did scrape the derby cover on a curb in my driveway (very small). The bike has 23868 and I have only put on around 150 miles since owning the bike (between the winter and not having enough time to get in a solid ride) and the Evolution engines are damn near indestructible. This bike starts strong and runs extremely well! I do still ride it on occasion so the mileage is going to change a little bit. This bike has always been garage kept and there is no rust on it at all. Its really a great bike. I will not ship pick-up only!
