2001 Harley Davidson Switchblade FXDWG2 Dyna Wide Glide

This special limited production Harley Davidson Twin Cam motorcycle was nicknamed the "Switchblade" It is nearly new with 4090 miles indicated on the working odometer. The merits of this special production motorcycle with design lead by Willy G was touted in the Hot Rod Bikes magazine February 2001 issue as one of the finest quickest limited Harley's available. This machine is all go with its 88ci twin cam engine on a 5 speed transmission. The sleek custom paint finish is done in a Scarlet Red and is accented with streaming flames of gold leaf on the fuel tank fenders and headlight fairing. The powder-coated frame chin fairing battery box coil cover and electrical enclosure are all color-matched for added visual intensity.The FXDWG2 is based on the Dyna Wide Glide and is powered by a Twin Cam 88 motor. The slammed front and rear suspensions lower the bike for a road-hugging look and feel. A full length fuel tank console (designed by Willie G. Davidson) and the silver-faced speedometer along with the Lightning Star Wheels slash-cut exhaust and billet-style turn signals add to the drama of this visually impressive motorcycle.This is a collectors bike. I've been told that only 800 of them were made and this is likely to continue heading up in value.
