Description

Harley Davidson Custom Shovelhead Rigid Hardtail Frame Chopper, 4 Cubic Inch Motor
Harley Davidson Custom Shovelhead Hardtail Rigid Frame Chopper, 4 Cubic Inch Motor

Engine Number: BEKB011092 Frame Number: SOS304134ILL

The condition of this machine very good, onsidering it is an vintage build. Everything from the frame to the fenders has been restored, e-built, nd/or re-finished approximately 15 years ago.

I am the third owner from the time the bike was built. This machine has been a part of my collection for some time and is ridden occasionally. The bike is stored in a temperature controlled environment throughout the entire year.

When I purchased the bike, t was in the condition you see in the photos. All of the major engine, ransmission, nd braking components are operational. The motor and trans was, s far as I can tell, anufactured in 1974. The carburetor is an S&S Super, nd it functions exactly as it should.

The wheel on the rear is a 16” solid aluminum disc, hile the wheel on the front is a 21” twisted spoke chrome rim.

The tires are in very nice condition and are the correct type and size for the bike. If you’re going to ride the bike long distances (not an easy task), ou might want to think about updating the tires, ut if you’re going to use it as a bar to bar cruiser, think they’ll do just fine for a while. The brakes have also been checked recently for safety, ront and rear. The engine and transmission were re-built and restored with the addition of a cam and upgraded pistons and are in excellent interior condition. The bike is very easy to start with the electric start and very easy to start with the kick starter. A new battery was also installed recently. The seat is a LePera and is in good condition.

The Harley on the road is very easy to handle, nd rides down the road very tight. It shifts and accelerates smoothly and holds the road as it should. I will tell you that this bike is a HANDFUL to ride. It does not have a rear suspension and is VERY fast. But it is a blast to ride. And believe it or not, f you can get past the hardtail aspect of the frame, he bike actually has a pretty comfortable riding position.

Please note there is a clear title for the motorcycle, nd it shows it as a 1998.

There is absolutely nothing that needs to be done to this machine to ride, how, nd enjoy it. The new owner will have a fantastic looking custom chopper that can be ridden and enjoyed as well as shown at any vintage motorcycle show.
