1979 XLH Harley Davidson Sportster Ironhead Elect. start

Up for sale!! This is is a nice Corvette Yellow and Chrome 1979 XLH Ironhead Sportster. It is a darker yellow than the pics show. I took them in Full Sunshine. The Graphics on the tank are Decals, o you could remove them Carefully with a heat gun if you don't like them. It has been sitting in my garagefor at least two years, ut was sitting for many years when I got it. So selling "AS IS" Does NEED SOME CARB WORK. But It started up real easy after setting for so long, ut it sure needs a bunch of cleaning and polishing as it wasn't covered for all that time storage. Especially the aluminum stuff. It SHINES for a mile when Cleaned up! It's electric start and has a good strong battery. I put a new front tire on it as it sat flat for a long time and ruined sidewall, lso it wasn't charging so I replaced the voltage regulator. Now everything works as it should. It says it has 13,365 miles on it but it's a 1979 so I doubt it's right. Has a lot of Chrome! But I would buy a Bolt kit for the engine and another kit for the frame, Ebay $50 and up) that would just about finish it up. Paint is ok, ut does have some chips and a scratch or two. This is the model with duel front disk brakes and single disk on the rear. Seat is ok but sure not the best. Has open Chrome drag pipes, o sounds LOUD and Great!! Has that Deep Harley sound! (Mufflers- Insert type $17.50 a PR. on Ebay. cuts the sound in half but doesn't change the deep thump. ) Has a CLEAR Indiana title in my name.Any questions, ust ask. 574-780 8987 orEmail me to set up a time to see it.
