1975 Harley Davidson ironhead sportster matching numbers runs very good

This is a 1975 ironhead sportster for sale. The bike has matching frame and motor numbers, nd runs very well. The bike is mostly original, nd unmolested base wise. Add ins for it that aren't original are an s&s super e carb, n alien style round fuel tank, different seat, nd electronic ignition. Otherwise, t's pretty much all 1975, nbsp;no frame mods, o motor mods, tc....
I picked the bike up last year from a guy who couldn't start it. It turned out the starter bendix was shot, nd the s&s had no accelerator pump in it. I replaced those, s well as putting on a ground cable I had from a big twin, nd it fired right up. There was some oil loss from the breather as it had been sitting for a while, ut it cleaned up in seconds, nd there's no oil puke at all now, his is typical with these ironheads have had 3, nd all of them did it when sitting untouched for some time. The bike runs very good, o motor leaks that I can find anywhere, ocker boxes aren't excessively noisy like most ironhead a can be, o smoke, tc... It's a good running motor.
The bike fires up with the enrichener right off, squirts with the throttle, nd when it warms up, t's a bike that starts without giving it throttle. Just push the button, nd she starts, hich I don't see often in these old ones. I took her for a ride, nd she shifts throw the gears very nicely, nd all gears work good. The clutch pulls nice. I heard a little bit of what sounded like clutch basket noise when I first took off, ut it could have been the compensating sprocket, never heard it again.
The bike is in pretty good shape for its age. The fenders are solid, ut I do see a rust spot ding at the bottom rear area of front fender, nd the rear fender is a little banged up where it hides behind the oil tank and battery box. The bike is missing the battery box cover, nd I don't have one to put on it, o I put a piece of foam between the frame and positive cable. It held fine for a 20 minute ride.
The electrical under the seat shows its age, nd should be addressed. I went over a few wires to assist in the starting trouble, ut the wires are old, nd some have been repaired, he circuit breakers are rusty, tc... All the bikes wiring works fine, he blinkers, tarter etc... Charging too. But, t should be gone over to be safe. The horn doesn't work presently. The starter and solenoid are new, s is the bendix gear.
The rear brake works, ut is either out of adjustment, r in need of some shoes. You have to press down pretty far, arther than I would want to if driving this daily, ut the rear does stop the bike. The front brakes work, ut the rotor is pretty scored, nd it should really be checked out, nbsp;the front does stop the bike well though.
The throttle grip sticks a little before activating the cable. The cable works fine, nd slides good. I believe it's probably the grip itself that is worn, nd binding. I was bake to operate it just fine, ut it should be addressed if using the bike regularly.
The rocker box bolts have those little red tabs on em, nd one is missing. Its just the little plastic red thingy on the rocker bolt not the bolt. Just a do dad.... The tires are good and hold air, ut they haven't been run in a while, nd you know how that can be... They have tread on em and ran down the road well though...
All in all, his is a really nice 75 ironhead unmolested for someone's custom project, r could go back to fully restored condition.
I am unsure of the mileage of the bike. The speedo says a little over 10,000, ut it is an aftermarket speedo, nd I didn't mount it. So, t's hard to guess what the mileage is on the bike.
