2011 Harley-Davidson Sportster 48 Custom XL1200X

I purchased this Forty Eight new from a dealer in November 2013, o even though it's a 2011 model, t's only been on the road about a year, nd lightly used at that. I've ridden it only once this year and it has only 1,600 miles on it. I bought the bike to customize. I am a certified motorcycle mechanic, o all customizing is professionally done. Customization included custom paint on the tank, obbing the rear fender, dding an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner with hand made aluminum numbers, aking a custom exhaust which is wrapped and has baffles make the noise less obnoxious. Rear shocks were replaced with Suspension Technologies shim style shocks for much better ride comfort and control. I changed the footpegs and hand grips to Kuryakin Iso-Grips. I also changed the gas cap to a Roland Sands unit. The bike has a Power Commander V installed to adjust the fuel flow for the air cleaner and exhaust. It makes much more power than a standard Sportster.
I made a custom springer seat setup for the bike with a hand made steel seat pan. I also have an all leather custom LaPera Cafe style saddle for the bike and will include the original stock seat as well. Pictures show both setups. The bike looks great either way. It's up to you what you like in terms of comfort, iding position, nd looks.
I'm selling the bike because I have a custom bike nearing completion and no room to put it. I love the bike. It's a riot to ride and has a distinctive look that gets a lot of looks and comments.
