1972 Harley Davidson Sprint SS 350

1972 Harley Davidson Sprint SS 350 in the process of restoration. New period correct paint job, owever when the bike was beingtransferred one of the straps broke and the bike fell into a tool box denting the newly painted gas tank (see pixs) There are also some light scuffing on the rear fender, ut I believe when the bike isbuffed outout will eliminate most of those.The bike was completely stripped and the frame powder coated Harley Orange. The engine has a new set of rings and a valve job and very strong. I dont know the exact miles but the odometer reads 9651. So far the oils seal (clutch shaft) and clutch, ustom exhaust, askets, oints, lug, arburetor, lutch, ront forks and fork tree, ront brake handles, ank, hain, ront tire, ick starter, hifter,and seat have all been replaced. Great for vintage look for restaurant or club, r daily driver, his is a true Harley in every sense of the time period motorcycles, he engine is strong. It will start on the first kick when you do it the right way. This bike is sold with a bill of saleonly it has not been registered in the state of Texas since 1984Known issues: The speedometer is not connected by a cable and the glass is missing on it and I am not sure if it works. The front brake is not connected. The points need to be replaced and thecarburetor is a replacement Bing vintage carb . The original factory carb is a Del Orto 27 or 30 mm carb andshould be installed. The charging system is a 6 volt system and seems to be working correctly, owever I replaced the front headlight with a very powerful spotlight lamp which uses a 12 volt bulb with a step up converter on a six volt battery. Front tire is new rear tire is a run flat type should probably be replaced.
