2003 Anniversary 1200 With Multi Bike Options

This motorcycle was purchased at a Harley Davidson Dealership by me in 2003 as new. It had 2000 miles on it and the first owner turned it back in to the dealer for a larger motorcycle. Since I purchased the bike, added Screaming Eagle exhaust, rogressive rear shocks and front springs and mini ape handlebars. The motorcycle has always been gently driven by me, aintained on a regular basis and garage parked. Motorcycle has new battery and tires and brakes are okay. Dealer oil change two weeks ago. Motorcycle is last of the rigid mount motors and carburetion. Parts and accessories are available from companies will list Sportsters fitting1997 to 2003.

The motorcycle has been custom designed several times. What is unique is the three complete set of "Skins" or gas tank, ront and rear fender. The original gray anniversary set is in great shape and included. The pictured "Sticker Bike" gas tank and fenders and the House of Color Red bobber gas tank and fenders are also included. What I have enjoyed about the motorcycle is changing the look. The tank and fenders can be easily changed out in an afternoon.

The sticker gas tank and fenders and red gas tank and fenders can be taken to a local shop and customized anyway you would like.

The motorcycle runs and rides great. I have always ridden the bike carefully and gently. Very rarely on the highway would I go faster than 60 miles per hour. I changed the oil on a very frequent basis. The manual, shop manual and maintenance records are included with the bike.

The other aspect of this bike that I have enjoyed is the accessories. The bike can be stripped down for local riding with a minimum of accessories and has a lean look. On a trip or riding with a passenger the bike can be changed dramatically in minutes with the quick install accessories. Add the clip on Harley windshield, he saddle bags, he Harley Sportster wide full two passenger seat, he clip on tall back rest and luggage rack and two people can very comfortable take in a road trip.

Bike gets 40 to 50 miles per gallon. I am selling as I purchased a new Harley recently. I still ride this bike and would take it on a trip if I had one plannedwithout hesitation.
