Description

Wanted: Fiercely independent Harley-Davidson rider looking for a one-off, ustom-built motorcycle. This bike was conceptualized by a talented regional tattoo artist and the actual build was entrusted to an established custom motorcycle builder. The final product presented here is the result of several years of close consultation between the designer and the builder. The photographs speak for themselves, o no hard sell is necessary. This motorcycle was built for the show circuit but at the same time, t remains a rideable investment.

The Good: This build began with a new Paughco rigid frame that was custom-built to the designer’s specifications with a 45 degree rake. Next came a factory-fresh Harley-Davidson drivetrain including a 1340cc Evo crate motor ($3,500) and a new 5-speed Dyna Glide transmission ($1,600) set up with electric start. The 80 cubic inch motor is fueled by a S&S carburetor with a Pingel shut off valve. Stopping power is provided by Swedish-built ISR brakes---front and rear---with interchangeable sprocket-discs ($1,100 per brake unit x 2). The genuine Harley-Davidson 16-inch rear wheel is sporting a new Pirelli tire and the front 21-inch wheel has excellent tread. The front fork assembly is a custom Pat Kennedy wide glide front end with adjustable-rake triple trees ($3,500). The transmission received a new Riviera hydraulic clutch setup ($800) and the bike is brought to life by a high-capacity 800 cca gel battery routed through a Crane tunable ignition system. Other features include an oil-filled Sifton oil pressure gauge, ual hydraulic hand controls for the clutch and front brake ($300 per side x 2), ustom designed solo seat, tainless steel hydraulic lines, UB slash-cut drag pipes ($500), nclosed primary belt drive, luminum billet forward controls (not cheap) and so much more!

The Bad: In a word---YES, his bike is totally bad: Badass, nbsp;Bad influence & Bad company. If you are looking for an image bike that will turn heads when you pull into your favorite watering hole parking lot, ook no further. In its first outing to a large regional custom bike show, his machine captured the second place trophy in the American Hardtail Radicalclass. This bike is super low to the asphalt with very limited ground clearance. In short, his is not a beginner’s motorcycle.

The Best: This motorcycle has only logged 50 break-in miles since being built using all new, op-of-the-line components. That’s correct, ust 50 miles! No expense was spared and nothing was held back in completing this one-of-a-kind motorcycle. The motor and transmission are new andfactory stock with the exception of the hydraulic clutch conversion. Accordingly, ou can count on reliable dependability for your cruising pleasure. This is not a long distance bike but rather it is set up to make a statement when you arrive on the scene attired in traditional Harley-Davidson black and chrome. The drivetrain was purchased from an authorized HD dealer and camewith a 1999 Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) as did the frame. The Kansas title is clear and identified as a 2014 assembled vehicle.
