Here is a totally custom 2008 Harley-Davidson Crossbones. The perfect combination of bobber and motor. It started out as a factory Crossbones and has been transformed into the bike you see here. It turns heads everywhere it goes and tricks onlookers into thinking it is from the 1950s. It may also be the ONLY 2008 1550cc carbureted Crossbones in existence, aking tuning and maintenance that much easier. So much has been put into this bike including:
- Custom paint, ust pearl flat metallic.
- Custom built rear fender and fender struts.
- Factory modified carbureted tank with fuel gauge removed and shaved.
- Flat tank design with no weld marks
- Custom brass gas cap
- Custom brass "fuel sight"
- Pingel custom brass petcock
- Custom choke handle mounted directly to the carb
- Custom wiring harness and Daytona TwinTec ignition
- Custom relay/fuse block

As of posting, t needs rear brakes which I have and will install. Mileage was from just before I removed the speedo. I estimate another 1500 miles from what is posted. I don't ride it much.On Jul-22-15 at 19:11:28 PDT, eller added the following information:
I will also throw in the OEM shocks. The hardtail struts just unbolt and put the shocks in to make it a softail again. May have to rearrange the fuse block but it's not a problem. The rear fender is mounted directly to the swingarm so making it a softail wouldn't be a problem.
