New Paint (Lacquer w/catalyzed urethane high gloss clear coat), ew battery, ew clutch plates, ew chrome shocks, ew steering head bearings, OS Bridgestone dual sport tires, ebuilt carb, OS voltage reg, ew sealed beam headlight, ew points plug & condenser, ew fork seals, eat reupholstered, ew aftermarket horn, ew upgraded petcock, ew rear brake light switch, ots of new fasteners, ew generator brushes, ork boots (from Norton Commando), ew NOS foot peg, hifter and kickstart rubbers. Probably a lot more things I forgot. A lot of parts and help from the folks at Moto Italia who are a terrific resource.

EVERYTHING works as it should. Entire bike has been stripped to the frame and painted, uffed, nd parts replaced as needed. Oil tight and Soild. Original key switch functioning on park, ff, un, nd run w/lights positions. Headlight, ail light operating properly with original CEV handlebar switch, amp; brake light operating properly (both the front and rear brake switches operating). Spedo works and has new light bulb. High beam and generator indicator lights are aftermarket LED and operable. Original DelOrto carb rebuilt and aftermarket free flow air filter fitted. Valves adjusted, otor flushed out and fresh oil change and filter cleaning. Inside of tank is solid. Original high SX muffler in good shape with no rust thru (re-painted high heat black). Ignition tune up obviously. I had the generator components bench tested and the armature cleaned and replaced the brushes and regulator, ow charging properly. Clutch plates were replaced as a couple of the original friction plates showed cracks. Any repairs to original wiring harness were made with correct color wire and splices soldered. I have not split the cases or removed the top end as there appears to be no need, Right and left case covers have been off for service and internal cleaning. Replaced the steering head bearings since I had it apart already, ame with the fork seals. Chrome is worn on kickstart leaver and muffler heat shield and has been cleaned and clear coated. Chrome on wheel rim centers and spokes had some corrosion and have been cleaned, ainted Mercedes metallic and clear coated, ee picks. Horn and shocks are aftermarket Asian and better than original.

This was a barn find and has been in my basement for years. I just pulled it out and went thru it this summer. I have been riding and wrenching Italian bikes for many years although this is my first Aermacchi (Harley). I have many hours and $ in this bike and I think the result is apparent from the photos. Buyer will not be disappointed. No one believes this is a 44 year old bike. Sold with clear title from original owner, epro factory service manual, nd Moto Italia Sprint parts manual. Dare to be different!
