For Sale is a Numbers Matching Frame/engine Period Correct 1972 Harley Davidson Sportster XLH 1000cc Ironhead Chopper
V-Twin Runs/ Drives Very Good. Original miles unknown. Engine rebuilt approx 700miles ago bu previous owner.This is a 3 owner bike the first was a vietnam vet(see tank pic) who built it primarily as you see it.He passed it on to his son who sold it to me.

This bike is numbers matching w/ a clean 1972 Title.This bike is a great driver and alot of fun.
Bike does have some paint chips and chrome peeling.Battery is older and a little weak but still fires the bike just fine.inside of the tank is immaculate and has a fresh full tank of Premium gas in it for you.no fuel/oil line leaks. does have some small oil leaks but nothing more than some minimal 'weeping' and that leaves a nickel sized spot on the ground when left overnight.Headlight hard wired to run on low beam .Ignition was in working order. Still has the factory original keys.
This bike isnt perfect and will need some basic adjustments(chain/carb), ut is a nice fun piece of american history and will get lots of looks.and is ready to go.
