1998 Harley Softail S+S Custom

This one of a kind Softail uses many stock Harley parts and mixes them with a great custom look. At first glance it just looks like a standard 1998 Softail Style bike. The tank and seat are standard style items so there is never a worry if anyone wanted to change the seat that it would need to be custom made. Any standard seat setup will work. This bike was custom built for a bar give away in Florida in 1998.My buddy'sUncle owned it and rode it until he got older and couldn't ride it. It sat in a storage space for a few years waiting for someone to go through it and ride it again. It has custom rims, specialty frame and a 100HP S+S motor. I have the original motor purchasesheetfor the bike. The Thunder header on this bike gives it the ultimate sound. No other header sounds like a Thunderbolt header. The bike starts and thumps. Great sounding bike. This bike has 4400 original miles on it.It has a digitalconsole display. Worksgreat and looks cool. The oil sending chip inside thedigitaldisplay stopped working. Iadded a manual oil pressure gauge and the pressure always looks great.I am the second owner, have only driven it short distances around town and for fun.The bikegot new tires when I got it. Some physical issues are limiting my ability to ride it and have fun and it needs to go.Nothing is wrong with the bike or how much fun it is to ride. It is very comfortable. Last year the bike was completely gone through at Richmond Superbike. The bearings were all checked and packed. Wiring all checked. New battery. All new fluids. New rear tail light and wiring. The bike just received a new drag specialties starter and starter relay. It shows a little age but it is an amazing bike and solid as a rock.The bike just has a nice, ow slung look. Combined with full suspension it rides well. If I could ride it I would never sell it. But it needs a new home. I have tried to highlight the minor flaws in the pictures and feel free to come inspect it if you are local. Great bike. Local pick up only. It will have a new inspection this week also. So the bike will be good until 2016. I also have a standard center console piece for it and Pro-1 Forward controls that have not been put on the bike.
