Description

I have too many bikes and not enough time. It's time to let a few go to new homes where theycan be enjoyed and ridden. This Harley-Davidson Heritage Springer has a Liberty Sidecar. It's great fun to ride around town. You get lots of thumbs up! No need to be able to balance or put your feet down at a light. Bikes with sidecars don't lean (unless you're taking a right hand turn too fast and you get the sidecar up in the air), o the tires tend to wear out right down the middle. The tires still have some tread on them, ut it's getting thin. You'll see that the previous owner bumped into several things in his barn and the sidecar fender has some pretty deep gouges. I contacted Liberty Sidecars about sending it to them for repair and they quoted my less than $150 for repair and repaint. I've also taken a few other picture of the other paint chips. There is also a small dent on the back top of the front fender. It looks like it might have bottomed the suspension on a big bump and the fender made contact to a support bolt. The prior owner had many motorcycles and kept them all in his barn. The moisture in the barn has taken some toll on the chrome. It shines up pretty nice, ut the pitting is obvious when you getclose. If you have questions about this, ou should probably come she it in person. I have the windshield that the prior owner had on it when I got it, ut I'm not sure if all of the hardware is there. I'll through it in the deal (I have attached a photo from when I got it with the windshield, ut it's not on it now). I'm not sure if you can even ship a bike with a sidecar, ut I'm willing to sell to out of state buyers if you can find a company to load it up. The center headlight seems to have a short. When I toggle the main headlight on, he side headlights dim. I've never got around to looking into this. I just ride with the side headlights. I also hit a big bump about 2 years ago and pinched the wires going to the sidecar lights (they run along the bottom of the sidecar support bar). I haven't had any electrical problems, ut it could probably use a good re-wrapping with electrical tape. You'll also see that the sidecar step is starting to get pretty rusty under the rubber pad. I'm sure your can get another one from Liberty Sidecars. They really friendly and nice to deal with.

The HD43 license plate is because it is a Harley for(4) 3 people...it's not a 1943!

On a scale of 1-10, 'd say it's probably a 6-7. It has normal wear for its age, he paint chips on the sidecar and the chrome issues when up close. Reserve is $9000. Ask me any questions.
